Yabinu Plus Trading Services Ltd is the product of a rich family business legacy that spans over 45 years.

The foundation of this legacy was laid in 1977 by the late Alhaji Ali Shaibu, who was awarded a Federal Government contract under the “Operation Feed the Nation” initiative to distribute fertilizer to end-users across Nigeria. His company, Alhaji Ali Shaibu Nig. Ltd, became one of the few organizations entrusted with this responsibility, maintaining a strong presence during successive government agricultural programs.

Following his passing in 1995, the business was sustained and expanded by his eldest son under the registered entity Mohammed Ali Shaibu Nig. Ltd, which remains active and influential in fertilizer sales and distribution.

In 2016, with the introduction of the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative aimed at improving local fertilizer production and affordability, new opportunities emerged in the transportation of raw materials such as Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) and Muriate of Potash (MOP) from ports to blending plants nationwide.

Recognizing this opportunity, Abubakar Ali, the promoter of Yabinu Plus, began operations as an independent transporter in 2017, successfully handling logistics from Port Harcourt to various locations across the country.

To formalize and expand the business, Yabinu Plus Trading Services Ltd was officially incorporated on April 17, 2019, as a limited liability company, with a focus on logistics and trading services.

Today, the company continues to build on its heritage, delivering reliable and efficient logistics solutions across Nigeria.
